CDL B Pump Truck Technician

Skips Wastewater Services is the leading full service wastewater provider that specializes in septic tank and grease trap pumping, septic system repair and installations, septic inspections, and more. The applicant must have a Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record. Previous vacuum truck and/or general vacuum or tank truck experience is beneficial, but not required. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Live within 30 minutes of the shop
• Have held driving jobs for longer than 2 years
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Tanker endorsement or must obtain
• Have at least 1 Year of CDL truck driving
• Clean driving record
• Must have the ability to lift objects up to 65 pounds and be in good physical shape
• Must be able to follow the direction and orders of the President and other supervisors
• Must be drug free; all drivers are required to have a pre-employment drug screening and are thereafter subject to random drug tests.

Duties:

• Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
• Engage with customers in a kind and respectful manor.
• Utilize our CRM software for locations of components and invoicing.
• Properly pump all liquids and solids from the septic tanks, grease traps, etc.
• Proper evaluation upon completion.
• Securing covers and restoring work area.
• Following routing on iPad within our CRM.
• Offload at approved wastewater receiving facilities throughout the day.
• Follow up with co-workers throughout and at the end of each day.

• $26-$32 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working vacuum truck driver to join the company. This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumping and disposal of septic tanks, grease traps, sludge and other non-hazardous liquids. We have the newest and most up to date trucks and equipment in the industry. We work year round to serve our 35,000+ loyal customers. All routing and work orders are done through our CRM with technicians using company issued iPads. Although reasonable hand digging is required, we utilize service technicians to do the heavy digging and lifting so our trucks stay moving!
