Skips Wastewater Services is a well-respected, full-service septic company based out of Ellington, Connecticut. We take pride in the quality of our services and our employees who perform them. We offer a great work atmosphere, competitive pay, and a generous benefits package. We are seeking a reliable, hard-working and responsible CDL driver to join our company.

The employee will be responsible for inspecting septic systems, diagnosing issues found with the system, presenting the findings to relators, homeowners and home buyers, as well as creating a detailed report based on your findings. Driving will remain local as Skips Wastewater only services Connecticut. The position is Monday – Friday, with Saturday’s by request.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

Duties

• Driving to septic inspection sites (real estate inspections, service calls, further evaluations)
• Locating septic tanks and their components
• Accessing the tank by digging or locating the covers
• Cameraing the lines of the septic tank
• Inspecting the condition of the tank, pipes, and leaching system
• Diagnosing any issues you see at hand and writing a detailed report going over your findings
• Presenting the findings with whomever is present, educating new homeowners on how to properly maintain a septic system
• Following up with customers after the service to make them aware of your findings or answering any follow-up questions they may have

Requirements

• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to perform hard labor, including digging, lifting 65+ pounds
• Must be able to follow the direction of the President
• Great customer service and speaking skills
• Detail-oriented individual

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
